SECRET EVENTS

 LOCAL TALENT

HIDDEN VENUES

MADE FOR THE CURIOUS

DUBROVNIK

26.6. - 30.6.

MADlokalZ is a revolt against the bastardized local label slapped on any generic experience that fits within a tourist brochure.

We connect raw talent with people who want something
realPerformances happen in unexpected places: homes, studios, garages, ruins. Sometimes where the artists live, always where they belong.

This isn’t curated for comfort. It’s not polished for mass appeal. It’s what happens when you take away the frame and let artists show up as they are. No middlemen, no compromises, no pretending.

Admission to all events is free, but the number of attendees is limited. Secure your spot for the main event by registering. You will receive directions to the events via the provided Email address.

THIS YEAR'S LOKALZ

//MUSIC

M. D. H.

A wandering spirit. A jazz obsessive audio-outlaw.

Spotlight? Hell no. Find him digging through damp record crates in a foreign basement.

His story reads more like folklore than biography: exile, shadowy studios, and melodic offerings to the Machine Spirit. Haunted by the ghost of creativity, he wrestles between motion and stillness. What emerges is more than beats and music.

Witness the residue of a restless soul - a sonic shock that spreads love, peace, and a great vibe.

//ART

WANDA MITROVIĆ

An artist whose surreal, introspective figures offer a bold alternative to the sunset colored clichés of Dubrovnik. Her work is manifested subconscious, drawing on mythology, dreams, and psychological archetypes to explore the hidden depths of human experience.

In a city often defined by postcard-perfect imagery, Wanda’s art is a necessary disruption. It's sinfully haunting, boldly raw, and deeply personal. Her sculptures and drawings invite viewers to look within, to understand the assumptions they make when facing her art.

Wanda's often 'dark' expression is nothing less than a bolt of bright lightning piercing through the murky mud of artistic mediocrity, complacency, and inertia that settled on the shores of Dubrovnik with the tide of mass tourism.

//DESIGN

MILAN PANTOVIĆ

A restless force of nature in human form, Milan moves through the world with one hand sketching ideas and the other dismantling the rules.

Creative, curious, and just the right amount of unpredictable, this is someone who doesn’t follow templates, he makes them. With a background that spans corporate design to scrappy startup branding, he brings both structure and experimentation to the table. He’s not afraid to test, tweak, and take creative risks, especially when the result is something that actually stands out.

From motion graphics to sound design, his work pulls from every corner of his toolkit—and that’s what makes it work. If you’re looking for fresh ideas and someone who sees the bigger picture (then draws all over it), simply shout: "MILANEEEEEEE!"

THIS YEAR'S VENUE

16th CENTURY HAUNTED WATER WELL

The hidden event takes place at a 16th-century stone well, once part of a nobleman's villa complex. This location wasn’t chosen for its charm or historic appeal. It was chosen because it reflects something more uncomfortable: how individual lives are shaped by the systems around them.

During the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic, a noblewoman had a child with a commoner. Their relationship violated the social order, so it was buried. The child, a girl, was raised in this villa with a fabricated story. She was told her blood was pure.

The truth came out years later. The identity she had built her life around was false. Her relationship with a nobleman ended the moment her real lineage was exposed. Marrying her would have been unacceptable. But she was pregnant.

The child was left at a foundling home. That was the solution. Her own life unraveled, not because of anything she did, but because she no longer fit into the narrative the system demanded. In her final years, she wandered the halls of the villa, broken, angry, repeating the same names and stories until no one was left to listen.

Except maybe this cat.
